Mysi Carroll is a native of the “Ole Border Town” of Momence, Illinois. She is the youngest of four (and the only girl.) Creating is in her blood. Her father was a woodworker and blacksmith and her mother crocheted and knitted, and two of her three brothers are musicians. The bloodline consists of many creative souls.
For the last 26 years, Mysi has focused on her career as a floral designer. She has developed a passion for color, texture and composition. Being a single mother of two, she began honing her skills in other areas to help bring extra income into the household. From making jewelry and doing acrylic pours, she now mainly paints with alcohol inks, a medium just recently making its debut in the fine art world. Mysi approaches her art with intent to keep learning, and to keep evolving. Who knows what she’ll come up with next?
